Design Process

We will begin with an initial meeting at your home to discuss your landscape, and your ideas and preferences.  I will measure and analyze your site to create a base map.  During this analysis, problems such as drainage, unsightly views, prevailing winds, etc., are noted.  I will also take into account views to be enhanced, plants to be kept or removed, soil type, and sun and shade exposure.

During our second meeting, I will present you with a concept design.  We'll go out into your landscape and discuss the proposal which can include patio placement and size, deck and walkway placement,  how to screen or enhance views, planting bed shape and location, and ideas for plants and other materials to be used. 

During this meeting, you can share your opinion, make changes, and together, we will settle on a final design.  

In our final meeting, you will be presented with two copies of the design, a plant list, materials list, contractor recommendation, tips on where to purchase materials and any other information that is necessary for the completion of your new and exciting landscape.
